Secretary General of the Arab League Ahmed Aboul Gheit strongly condemned the criminal attack that targeted a hotel in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, which resulted in dozens of casualties.In a statement issued today, Aboul Gheit affirmed the league's support for the efforts of the government and people of Somalia to combat threats to security and stability, and to protect the progress made by the Somali government at all levels.He offered condolences to the government and people of Somalia, especially to the families of the victims, and wished speedy recovery to the injured.Source: Saudi Press Agency
