The US Ambassador to Iraq, Alina Romanowski, expressed her concern about changing the Personal Status Law.The Ambassador said in a post on the "X" website: "We are concerned about the proposed amendments to the Iraqi Personal Status Law that would undermine the rights of women and children."She added: "We urge Iraqis to engage in a civil dialogue that fully respects freedom of religion or belief and the rights of women and children."Source: National Iraqi News Agency
