UAE President confers First-Class Medal of Independence on Ambassador of Belarus

ABU DHABI: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan awarded the First-Class Medal of Independence to Andrei Luchenok, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to the UAE, on the occasion of the end of his tenure as ambassador to the country.Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, presented the medal to Luchenok during a meeting at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.During the meeting, she stressed the UAE's keenness to further strengthen relations with the Republic of Belarus across all fields.She also expressed her wishes for future success for the Ambassador, and commended his role in strengthening relations between the UAE and the Republic of Belarus during his tenure.For his part, Luchenok expressed his appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and commended the progress between the two countries.Furthermore, he expressed his gratitude to all UAE entities for their cooperation, which contributed to the su ccess of his mission in the country.Source: Emirates News Agency
