The Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the National Center for Waste Management (MWAN) to tackle challenges in the waste-management sector through innovative technological solutions.The MoU is designed to enhance collaboration between the two entities in order to bolster the waste-management sector and improve its operations through the utilization of artificial-intelligence (AI) technologies and solutions.SDAIA actively supports the waste-management industry by leveraging data and AI technologies to promote environmental sustainability. It works on developing intelligent solutions to enhance waste-management practices and reduce environmental impact in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.These initiatives are integral to SDAIA's core mission as a national authority for data and AI in the Kingdom, overseeing their organization, advancement, and application.
