Water situation in Mahwit

Al Mahwit Water Basin Committee discussed, in its meeting, headed by the Secretary-General of the Local Council of the governorate, Dr. Ali Al-Zikam, the means to preserve the water basin and protect it from depletion and random drilling.The Secretary-General of the Local Council of the governorate stressed the importance of implementing the law to preserve groundwater as it belongs to future generations.Source: Yemen News Agency
