Abu Dhabi: The World Bank has announced a strategic collaboration with the ADGM Academy, a prominent center for financial education excellence, to enhance financial literacy and economic knowledge across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. This partnership aims to support sustainable development and economic growth through comprehensive training programs and policy advisory services.According to Emirates News Agency, the collaboration commenced with the first of a series of Think Space events, focusing on 'Growth in the Middle and North Africa Economic Outlook' at the ADGM Academy. The initiative seeks to empower local talent, create jobs, and drive economic growth by equipping individuals, businesses, and government institutions with essential skills and knowledge in the rapidly evolving financial landscape.The World Bank and ADGM Academy will leverage their respective strengths to bridge knowledge gaps and promote financial inclusion. The World Bank's global expertise in economic development , combined with ADGM Academy's regional insights, will deliver impactful and accessible training and guidance.Key initiatives of this collaboration include financial literacy and skills development, research and thought leadership, and policy advisory and capacity building. These initiatives aim to enhance financial literacy across various societal segments, address economic challenges, and help government bodies develop sound economic policies for a sustainable and inclusive financial environment.Iva Hamel, the World Bank's Resident Representative to the United Arab Emirates, expressed her pleasure at the launch of the World Bank ADGM Knowledge Series partnership, "ThinkSpace." She emphasized that this initiative represents a significant milestone in fostering knowledge sharing and capacity building within the region, with plans to host a range of lectures featuring experts and thought leaders.Mansoor Jaffar, CEO of ADGM Academy and Research Centre, expressed honor in collaborating with the World Bank.
