Dubai: Following consultations and approval of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, announced today changes to the UAE government.
According to Emirates News Agency, the changes include the establishment of a Ministry of Foreign Trade with Dr. Thani Al Zeyoudi appointed as Minister of Foreign Trade. Additionally, the Ministry of Economy has been renamed to the Ministry of Economy and Tourism, to be led by Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid further announced the adoption of the National Artificial Intelligence System as an advisory member in various government councils starting January 2026. This move aims to support decision-making, provide real-time analyses, offer technical advice, and enhance the efficiency of government policies across all sectors.
His Highness emphasized the importance of these changes by stating that the world is undergoing a transformation phase in various domains, and the UAE aims to prepare for future decades, ensuring prosperity and a dignified life for future generations.
