Abu Dhabi:Asia is marking its strongest presence at ADIPEC 2026, illustrating the increasing influence of Asian economies in the global energy sector. This year, 353 Asian companies are exhibiting, accompanied by six country pavilions from the Republic of Korea, China, India, Japan, Malaysia, and Singapore.

According to Emirates News Agency, the record participation underscores the region's diverse industrial and technological capabilities and reaffirms ADIPEC's role as a global platform that connects companies, investors, and decision-makers across the energy markets.

Asia has emerged as a leading hub for global energy-demand growth due to industrial and economic expansion, population growth, infrastructure development, and investment in advanced technologies. China, a major industrial and economic power, is represented by companies in energy, manufacturing, and technology sectors. India showcases its rapidly growing energy-demand market, while Japan and the Republic of Korea bring a significant technological and industrial dimension. Malaysia and Singapore emphasize Southeast Asia's role in energy with strengths in trade, logistics, and supply-chain development.

The diversity in Asian participation provides an opportunity to explore various approaches to energy development, from exploration and production to digital solutions and improved industrial efficiency. Innovations aimed at reducing emissions and enhancing environmental performance are also being showcased.

ADIPEC 2026 serves as a pivotal platform for Asian companies to connect with global counterparts, explore joint projects, exchange expertise, and develop solutions to meet changing market requirements. The event also allows companies to present their capabilities to investors, buyers, and potential partners.

The increasing Asian presence reflects the importance of economic relations between the UAE and Asian countries, offering opportunities to deepen cooperation, particularly around energy security, efficiency, and future energy sources development. This participation underscores Asia's critical role in the global energy conversation and helps shape international cooperation.

This year's ADIPEC features its largest exhibition yet, gathering companies from across the energy value chain, including major national and international energy producers, technology providers, and service companies. This diversity continues to bolster ADIPEC's status as a global platform that connects energy industry centers and supports the development of a more efficient, resilient, and adaptable energy sector.
