Dubai:Aster DM Healthcare has announced the development of its 12th hospital in the UAE, named Medcare Royal Hills Hospital, in partnership with MENASCO. The project, located in Dubai Studio City, represents an investment of approximately AED 350 million. The partnership agreement was signed by Alisha Moopen, Managing Director and Group CEO of Aster DM Healthcare, and Bahaa H. Badawiyeh, CEO of MENASCO, with other key representatives present.
According to Emirates News Agency, Aster DM Healthcare plans to invest more than AED 1 billion in the UAE over the next five years. This strategic move is aimed at expanding the group's healthcare infrastructure and enhancing integrated, technology-enabled healthcare services. Medcare Royal Hills Hospital is set to be a multi-specialty tertiary-care facility, broadening Medcare's existing premium healthcare offerings in Dubai.
The new hospital will feature a comprehensive range of specialized clinical services, advanced medical technologies, and high-end surgical facilities. It will have approximately 239,000 square feet of gross floor area and a built-up area of around 430,000 square feet, with a capacity of 144 beds and six operating theatres. A key feature will be its comprehensive oncology center, which includes facilities for diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up, equipped with advanced technologies such as a linear accelerator, PET-CT, and chemotherapy units.
In addition to oncology, the hospital will offer specialized services in immunology, haematology, cardiology, neurology, and many other medical fields. It will house a dedicated paediatric intensive care unit, advanced critical care facilities, and a fully equipped emergency department. Women's health services will be enhanced with a dedicated labour, delivery, and recovery suite, including a water birth unit. The hospital will also boast state-of-the-art diagnostic capabilities and advanced technology investments to ensure accurate diagnoses and specialized treatments.
The collaboration with MENASCO aims to create a modern healthcare destination that integrates advanced infrastructure with specialized clinical capabilities, contributing to the evolving healthcare landscape in Dubai.
