The event emphasized career opportunities within the legal sector and discussed the skills, qualifications, and experiences necessary for success.
Prof. Esameldin Agamy, Chancellor of the University of Sharjah, highlighted the UAE's ongoing economic and security development, which has been paralleled by efforts to bolster its legal and legislative frameworks. He stressed the need for national institutions to continually update legislation and improve the legal system to meet evolving developmental needs, highlighting the importance of preparing graduates with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
Prof. Adnan Ibrahim Sarhan, Dean of the College of Law, noted that the forum helped bridge the gap between academic learning and professional practice by connecting students with legal institutions and introducing them to potential career paths. The event also gathered experienced legal professionals from both public and private sectors.
An exhibition accompanying the forum showcased government entities, law firms, professional associations, and academic institutions, providing further networking opportunities for attendees.
