Rafah:A delegation from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) visited the UAE Field Hospital in Rafah, located in the southern Gaza Strip, as part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3. The delegation aimed to review the medical services offered by the hospital and discuss enhancing cooperation and coordination to support Gaza's healthcare sector.
According to Emirates News Agency, the delegation toured the hospital's departments and was briefed on its medical capabilities, available equipment, and the healthcare services provided to patients and injured individuals. They also learned about the efforts of Emirati medical teams to deliver essential healthcare and reduce the suffering of residents amid the ongoing humanitarian conditions.
Both parties discussed ways to enhance cooperation and coordination in medical and humanitarian fields to address the needs of patients and injured individuals in the Gaza Strip. This visit forms part of the UAE's continued humanitarian efforts under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, which seeks to bolster medical and relief assistance, support Gaza's healthcare sector, and alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people.
