Dubai:The UAE is set to join the Syrian community in celebrating Syrian culture and history at a public event in Zabeel Park, Dubai, on Saturday, November 7. This annual event, now in its second year, aims to showcase Syria's rich heritage through music, art, cuisine, and historical exhibits.

According to Emirates News Agency, the event is organized by the Emirates Loves Syria initiative and seeks to strengthen the bonds within the community while highlighting the friendship between the Emirati and Syrian peoples. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, will be present alongside notable Syrian figures and business leaders residing in the UAE.

A special segment will honor distinguished members of the Syrian community in the UAE for their achievements across various fields, including art, media, medicine, business, and design.

An outdoor exhibition will feature installations inspired by famous Syrian landmarks, such as the Arch of Triumph in Palmyra and the Bab Al Faraj Clock Tower in Aleppo. Visitors can also experience interactive features like 'A Mailbox from Syria', and a photo zone depicting Syrian cities.

The event will support small Syrian businesses with 30 stalls for crafts and heritage products and 40 food and drink kiosks. This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance economic collaboration between the UAE and Syria, focusing on small and medium enterprises.

Overall, the celebration underscores the UAE's dedication to cultural diversity and openness, providing a platform for the Syrian community to express and share its cultural identity.
