H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, today received at the Ruler's Court, Dr. Omar Habtoor Al Darei, Executive Director of Islamic Affairs at the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments (GAIAE), along with several officials from the authority.H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, was present at the meeting.During the meeting, Sheikh Humaid affirmed the importance of showcasing and promoting the civilised and tolerant teachings of the Islamic faith that advocate upholding the values of tolerance and co-existence, and fostering love and peace among nations.He also explained that the UAE was founded upon these principles and has, since its establishment, integrated them within its constitution and laws, to ensure they resonate across future generations.Sheikh Ammar lauded the authority's efforts to promote religious values and traditions within the community, commending the UAE's dedication to caring for and serving the Holy Quran through diverse Quranic projects across the emirates.Al Darei expressed his gratitude to Sheikh Humaid and Sheikh Ammar for their warm reception and hospitality, lauding the significant support the authority receives from President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, which has enabled it to fulfil its social mission based on civilised foundations.Al Darei briefed Sheikh Humaid and Sheikh Ammar on the authority's plans and initiatives that support the UAE's strategy to achieve development, sustainability, and happiness for its people, and drive progress, making it one of the most prosperous and progressive nations in the world.Several officials from the Ajman government attended the meeting.Source: Emirates News Agency
