MANY CITIES ACROSS THE US HAVE ISSUED RESOLUTIONS, INDIVIDUALLY, DURING THEIR LOCAL COUNCIL MEETINGS, DEMANDING AN IMMEDIATE CEASEFIRE IN THE GAZA STRIP TO PROTECT CIVILIANS AND END THE ONGOING WAR ON THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE, CONSIDERED THE MOST BRUTAL SINCE 1948.MANY CITIES IN THE STATES OF MICHIGAN, NEW YORK, CALIFORNIA, GEORGIA, OHIO, CONNECTICUT, DELAWARE, GEORGIA, MISSOURI AND RHODE ISLAND ISSUED RESOLUTIONS URGING US PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN AND CONGRESS TO CALL FOR A CEASEFIRE AND DELIVER HUMANITARIAN AID TO THE PEOPLE OF GAZA.Source: National News Agency - LebanonThe Attorney General, Judge Dr. Muhammad Muhammad al-Dailami, today directed the release of 140 prisoners in the Central Correctional Facility in Hodeidah Governorate.This came during his visit to the governorate as part of a field trip to the governorates to inspect the work of prosecutors and judicial officers, and the conditions of prisoners.The directives included 106 prisoners who had served three-quarters of their sentences for serious crimes, and half of their sentences for non-serious crimes, and who had no special rights for others.It also included 34 insolvent prisoners who served their prison sentence and are still in prison due to special rights, which were paid in cooperation between the Public Prosecutor's Office, the General Authority of Zakat, and philanthropic businessmen.He was accompanied, during the visit, by the heads of the Court of Appeal, Judge Hadi Aydah, and the Criminal Court, Ahmed Al-Shami, a number of Court of Appeal judges and members of the prosecution, and the Directo rs of Security, Major General Aziz Al-Jaradi, and the Central Correctional Institution, Muhammad Al-Kuhlani.Source: Yemen News Agency
