Abu Dhabi: Creative Media Authority (CMA) has partnered with Fingerprint Media Production in a three-year collaboration aimed at bolstering Arabic film and television production in Abu Dhabi. Fingerprint Media Production is a full-service film and content production company founded by director Dr. Morcous Adel and actor Eyad Nassar.
According to Emirates News Agency, the collaboration will enhance the local production slate by an average of two projects annually and ensure that at least 50 percent of the crew comes from the local ecosystem. This initiative aims to facilitate Arabic productions further. The partnership will also deliver two annual Arabic industry workshops, two annual work experience opportunities for young local talent, and create three full-time roles. In return, CMA will offer support through the Abu Dhabi Film Commission's rebate scheme, which begins at 35 percent, and provide office space within the Yas Creative Hub.
Mohamed Dobay, Acting Director General of Creative Media Authority, emphasized the importance of strategic partnerships with leading Arabic content producers like Fingerprint Media Production. He stated that such collaborations would drive increased production in Abu Dhabi, ensuring sustained growth for the emirate's creative industries.
Khalid Khouri, Director of Industry Development at Creative Media Authority, mentioned that one of their key focuses is to maintain a year-round production slate from Arabic production teams. He expressed that the collaboration would enhance Abu Dhabi's appeal to attract more Arab films and series, with six Egyptian productions expected to be filmed in Abu Dhabi over the next three years.

He praised the support from the Abu Dhabi Film Commission and the emirate's creative ecosystem, emphasizing the variety of filming locations available.
