Sharjah: The fifth edition of the Hive Furniture Show 2025, a significant event for furniture retailers and wholesalers, officially commenced on Thursday at the Expo Centre Sharjah, running until 17th May.
According to Emirates News Agency, the event is supported by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and features participation from over 300 global exhibitors representing more than 20 countries. The show attracts top-tier suppliers and notable global furniture and home d©cor brands.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of SCCI and Expo Centre Sharjah, with several board members of the Sharjah Chamber in attendance. Marwan Al Mashghouni, Director of Government Communications at Expo Centre Sharjah, along with senior representatives of exhibiting companies, were also present. Attendees toured the pavilions and explored new product lines and furnishing designs debuting in the market. The collections on display include home furniture, household appliances, garden d©cor, luxury furnishings, and interior solutions.
Organised by OMG Exhibitions and Conferences, the show highlights furniture that meets international standards and showcases creative interior design solutions. The event features over 10,000 pieces of residential, office, and children's furniture, along with outdoor collections and decorative accessories.
Abdallah Sultan Al Owais emphasized the Sharjah Chamber's commitment to supporting trade exhibitions that foster economic growth and attract investments. He noted the show's contribution to enhancing Sharjah's status as a hub for trade events.
The Hive Furniture Show remains a key regional platform for the industry, offering companies the chance to present new products, explore trends, and engage with global markets. The event draws visitors from more than 50 countries and is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm. This year's edition includes panel discussions with producers and experts on topics such as furniture manufacturing strategies, interior design innovations, and future trends in home d©cor.
