Deputy Chairman of Hamas, Saleh Al-Arouri, confirmed that "we are opening a battle that will expand, escalate, and deepen, and it has one goal, which is the freedom of our people and their sanctities, and not for demands here and there.
Al-Arouri told the Palestinian Agency: There are senior Israeli officers who were captured by Al-Qassam Brigades, and there are many Palestinian martyrs and Zionist dead, and there are also many Zionist prisoners, and the battle is still at its peak, and the freedom of our prisoners in prisons is at the doorstep, and what we have is enough to liberate them, and if the battle continues "We will have more prisoners."
Al-Arouri added, “The resistance has a complete plan for all stages of the development of the current conflict, including comprehensive war and escalation to the furthest levels,” indicating, “The resistance bases its position and plans on the worst possibilities, and the scenario of the enemy’s ground entry into Gaza will be the best scenario we have for resolving the conflict with him.”
He continued, "We have information that the occupation army was preparing to launch an aggression against Gaza and the West Bank after the Jewish holidays, and that the resistance has a complete plan for all stages of the development of the current conflict, including comprehensive war and escalation to the extreme levels."
