Amran Governor , Dr. Faisal Jaman, discussed with the head of the Doctors Without Borders mission, Moha Zumraj, today the level of implementation of the organization's projects in Al-Salam Hospital in Khamer district and a number of health facilities in the province.
The meeting, which included members of the mission and the organization’s team in Khamer district, headed by Muhammad Al-Ghabri, the deputy director of the health office in the province, Dr.Yahya Al-Haiti, the directors of Al-Salam Hospital and the Central National Laboratory, the mission's interventions in relation to malnutrition diseases.
He pointed to the province's need to implement projects in the health sectors, at the forefront of which is the rehabilitation and support of the new Khamer Hospital to provide its services to the neighboring districts whose health facilities lack capabilities due to the continued aggression and siege.
He pointed to the most important needs of the health sector to enable hospitals and health facilities to expand their services to citizens.
He expressed his hope for interest in operating the new Khamer Hospital, supporting the central laboratory and the Al-Samad Hospital Authority in the province.
In turn, the head and members of the mission reviewed the health indicators of malnutrition diseases, stressing that the aim of the visit to the province was to see the health situation and the suffering left by the war in various aspects, including the deterioration of the health situation.
