According to Emirates News Agency, the summit, organized by the UAE Government Media Office under the theme 'Content for Good', spans three days and is hosted across various iconic venues in Dubai, including Emirates Towers, Dubai International Financial Centre, and the Museum of the Future. During a keynote session titled 'Why Dubai?' on the second day, Saeed Al Gergawi, Vice President of Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, underscored Dubai's robust proposition for launching and expanding digital enterprises and creative content initiatives.
Al Gergawi highlighted that Dubai's advanced infrastructure, stable environment, and investment-friendly regulations continue to bolster its standing as a leading hub for digital business and innovation. He noted that these elements underpin the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), which targets generating AED 100 billion in annual economic value through digital transformation initiatives. Furthermore, Dubai's business ecosystem fosters innovation, attracts diverse talent, and offers high-growth prospects, enhancing entrepreneurs' potential for success.
Al Gergawi elaborated on Dubai's integrated ecosystem that nurtures the creative economy across various sectors, emphasizing security, cultural diversity, social openness, and a conducive business environment tailored to digital creators' needs. As the contest's official host, Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy aims to cultivate a future-ready innovation environment where talent and ideas can flourish.
He also spotlighted the 'Create Apps Championship' under the 'Create Apps in Dubai' initiative, attracting significant interest from innovators and digital entrepreneurs since its 2023 launch. The championship has facilitated the development and deployment of over 55 smart applications, furthering Dubai's digital economy ecosystem.
Additionally, Al Gergawi mentioned Dubai Founders HQ, a collaborative initiative by Dubai's Department of Economy and Tourism and Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, which provides a platform uniting founders, investors, and partners.
