Dubai: The Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Small and Medium Enterprises Development (Dubai SME), a part of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), has entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with Al Tadawi Healthcare Group. This partnership aims to enhance procurement access, boost commercial visibility, and create growth opportunities for Emirati-owned SMEs across Dubai. It aligns with Dubai SME's mission to foster national talent and entrepreneurship, supporting the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33, which seeks to double the city's economic size by 2033 and fortify Dubai's role as a competitive hub for SMEs.
According to Emirates News Agency, the partnership is structured to aid Dubai SME members in establishing and expanding their operations through customized procurement opportunities. It offers access to preferential commercial and rental spaces within Al Tadawi Healthcare Group's network. By linking SMEs with steady, high-quality demand in the healthcare sector, the partnership aims to facilitate sustainable business participation.
The agreement provides Dubai SME members with discounts on commercial space and location rates, catering to retail outlets and service areas that support patient and visitor needs. Emirati suppliers who are part of Dubai SME will have priority in securing deals and contracts within Al Tadawi Healthcare Group's supplier listings. Covering a wide range of procurement needs, the partnership includes healthcare-related as well as general operational and corporate purchasing categories.
