Banjul, Gambian President Adama Barrow on Wednesday received the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid (KSrelief) Director of the Volunteer Programs Department and head of the voluntary medical team Ali bin Saad Al-Qarni and members of the delegation participating in in the two volunteer medical campaigns to remove women's tumors and perform specialized medical surgeries for children.During the meeting, the Gambian President presented certificates of gratitude and appreciation to the volunteer medical delegation, in appreciation of their efforts in implementing the two volunteer medical projects and helping the sick and injured.Gambian First Lady Fatoumatta Bah-Barrow presented a memorial shield to Al-Qarni in appreciation of KSrelief efforts in volunteer and humanitarian work and its contribution to alleviating the suffering of the Gambian people.The project comes as part of the volunteer medical campaigns implemented by the Kingdom through the center to treat patients and injured people with limited income in brotherly and friendly countries, and to achieve the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030, which focused on consolidating positive values among members of Saudi society.Source: Saudi Press Agency
