Islamic World Environment Ministers Conference Commends Kingdom’s Role in Sustaining Environment Preservation

Jeddah, Participants and winners of the Saudi Arabia Award for Environmental Management in the Islamic World – held under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as part of the 9th Conference of Environment Ministers in the Islamic World – commended the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's pivotal role in preserving the environment, ensuring its sustainability, and facing global environmental challenges to ensure a better future for current and coming generations.

In statements to the Saudi Press Agency, they praised Saudi Arabia's significant environmental efforts in various fields in promoting biodiversity, reducing emissions, increasing clean and renewable energy in the field of environmental emergencies, and reducing oil pollution. The award highlights the role of institutions and individuals in the Islamic world and honors and motivates them for further efforts in the environmental field.
