Maktoum bin Mohammed Highlights Milestones in Dubai’s Judicial System During Public Prosecution Visit.


DUBAI: H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, and Chairman of the Dubai Judicial Council, has acknowledged the significant milestones reached by Dubai’s judicial system, attributing these achievements to the vision of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai. He emphasized that this vision is focused on enhancing Dubai’s global standing by ensuring swift and precise justice, rooted in fairness, independence, and transparency.

According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Maktoum underscored the necessity of intensifying efforts to attain excellence and leadership within the judicial system, thereby reinforcing Dubai’s position at the forefront of delivering exceptional legal and judicial services that set international benchmarks. He highlighted the Public Prosecution’s dedication to upholding the rule of law, protecting public assets, and ensuring a secure environment c
onducive to development and stability.

Sheikh Maktoum’s observations were made during his visit to the new Dubai Public Prosecution building, where he was accompanied by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Abdulla Al Basti, and Abdulrahman Saleh Al Saleh. Upon arrival, Sheikh Maktoum was received by Chancellor Essam Issa Al Humaidan, Attorney-General of Dubai, and other senior officials.

During the tour, Sheikh Maktoum was briefed on the building’s various departments, which collectively fulfill the Dubai Public Prosecution’s mission of enforcing the rule of law, safeguarding rights, and delivering proactive digital services through innovative national talents. The modern facility, equipped with state-of-the-art amenities, is designed to expedite investigative processes and improve service quality for the public.

The building accommodates over 700 employees, including Public Prosecutors, technical, and administrative staff, and is designed to promote productivity and excellence. It features meeting and
training rooms, a Family Reconciliation Room, and Juvenile Prosecution to support family cohesion. A dedicated Children’s Room and an on-site nursery are also available to ensure a supportive environment for children and employees’ families.

Furthermore, advanced remote investigation rooms with AI-enhanced communication tools facilitate efficient investigation and litigation processes, reducing the necessity for physical presence at the Public Prosecution’s offices. Sheikh Maktoum concluded his tour by commending the Public Prosecution and related judicial entities for their collaborative efforts in achieving the emirate’s judicial objectives.
