Minister al-Rubai calls for enhanced services for fishermen

Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources Dr. Radwan al-Rubai on Wednesday emphasized the need for improved services for fishermen during a meeting with key figures in the fisheries sector.The meeting, which included former Fisheries Minister Mohammed al-Zubairi and sector leaders, focused on addressing the challenges faced by fishermen and streamlining procedures to enhance service delivery.Dr. Al-Rubai highlighted the importance of preserving and developing fisheries resources to boost the national economy and support the livelihoods of those in the sector.He called for a unified effort to overcome existing challenges and emphasized the need for ongoing administrative reforms in line with current priorities.In his remarks, al-Zubairi congratulated Dr. al-Rubai on his new role and commended the dedication of ministry and fisheries sector workers despite the difficulties posed by the ongoing aggression against Yemen.Following the discussions, Dr. al-Rubai honored former Minister al-Zub airi for his contributions to the fisheries sector during his tenure.Source: Yemen News Agency
