Abu dhabi: The Ministry of Defence has signed a strategic partnership agreement with EDGE Group, a leading entity in advanced technology and defence, to support the 46th World Congress of Military Medicine - ICMM Abu Dhabi 2026. The congress is scheduled to occur in Abu Dhabi from November 9th to 13th, 2026.According to Emirates News Agency, the agreement was witnessed by Major General Staff Ayesha Sultan Al Dhaheri, Executive Director of the Military Health Executive Directorate at the Ministry of Defence and Chairman of the ICMM Abu Dhabi 2026 Organizing Committee, alongside Hamad Al Marar, Managing Director and CEO of EDGE Group, with senior officials and representatives from both entities in attendance.The partnership is part of the Ministry of Defence's efforts to strengthen the strategic partner ecosystem supporting the congress and expand collaboration with leading national institutions in the defence, technology, and healthcare sectors related to military and civilian medicine.ICMM Abu Dhabi 202 6, organized by the Ministry of Defence in collaboration with ADNEC Group, serves as a premier international scientific platform. It brings together medical and military leaders, experts, researchers, and practitioners from over 120 countries to exchange knowledge, review scientific advancements, and reinforce international cooperation in healthcare systems and operational medicine, guided by the theme 'Ready When Needed.
