Abu dhabi: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received His Excellency Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, Prime Minister of Libya's Government of National Unity, who is on a working visit to the UAE. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral relations and exploring ways to foster cooperation that supports the mutual interests and prosperity of both nations and their citizens.
According to Emirates News Agency, the discussions also included an exchange of views on several regional issues, particularly developments in the Middle East. Both leaders emphasized the importance of ongoing efforts to achieve lasting peace and stability in the region, aiming to benefit all its peoples.
The meeting was attended by several prominent UAE figures, including H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; and other key officials. Their participation highlighted the significance of the discussions and underscored the UAE's commitment to fostering strong international partnerships.
