Ministry of Defence Celebrates Graduation of Future Leaders Programme


Dubai: The Ministry of Defence celebrated the graduation of 25 participants from the Future Leaders Programme under the patronage of the Office of H.H. the Minister of Defence. The ceremony was attended by Staff Major General Ishaq Saleh Mohammed Al Baloushi, Assistant Chief Of Staff Joint Capabilities at the Ministry of Defence, and Khalifa Rashid Al Hamli, Director of the Office of the Minister of Defence, at the Etihad Museum in Dubai.



According to Emirates News Agency, the programme was conducted in collaboration with the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG). It aims to enhance government efficiency, foster resilience, and empower leaders to anticipate challenges and innovate solutions, aligning with the UAE’s vision for leadership and sustainability.



Staff Major General Ishaq Saleh Mohammed Al Baloushi highlighted the strategic achievement of graduating leaders who can adapt to global developments in leadership and governance. He praised the MBRSG for their role in training young national talents, which advances their performance and ability to lead their institutions in line with the UAE’s forward-looking vision.



Khalifa Rashid Al Hamli emphasized the importance of this graduation in advancing the Ministry’s readiness to align with global transformations in management and leadership. He commended the partnership with MBRSG for providing an environment that nurtures the acquisition of specialised skills in digital transformation and artificial intelligence.



Dr Ali bin Sebaa Al Marri, Executive President of MBRSG, congratulated the graduates and reiterated the UAE’s commitment to investing in human capital as a priority to ensure sustainability and strengthen global leadership. He noted the programme’s alignment with the UAE’s strategic approach to developing a proactive and flexible government work environment.



The Future Leaders Programme focuses on eight core pillars, including global trends, national competitiveness, and effective leadership. Participants developed innovative projects addressing real-world challenges, aimed at enhancing the Ministry’s readiness and responsiveness in line with the UAE’s strategic plans for 2031 and 2071.
