Tourist sites and natural outlets in Sana'a governorate are witnessing a high turnout of visitors for the Eid holiday.
The number of visitors to these sites and outlets on the first and second days of Eid Al-Adha is estimated at 25,000, in light of the availability of security and safety measures to prevent drowning accidents while swimming.
The director of the Public Health and Population Office in the governorate, Dr. Khaled Al-Muntasir, stated that the medical teams, civil defense, tourism, hygiene and other sectors work side by side in serving visitors to the tourist areas in the governorate.
For his part, Director of the Tourism Office in the governorate, Yahya Al-Sharif, indicated that the joint teams are working to spread awareness among visitors to avoid any drowning accidents, and provide them with indicative information about the nature of the sites and the areas they visit.
While the director of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund in the governorate, Fahd Attia, explained that the team assigned by the fund is working to clean tourist sites and areas, remove waste, and implement awareness campaigns through mobile radio stations.
In turn, the Director of the Civil Defense Branch in the governorate, Dr. Sami Al-Jboubi, renewed the call for citizens to exercise caution and adhere to the instructions issued by the Civil Defense Authority not to swim in dams and water barriers, as well as not to approach dangerous places in them.
As well as, the flocks of visitors continue to flock to the tourist sites, led by the Beit Al-Kabsh waterfalls and Wadi Bihas in the Al-Haymah Al-Dakhiliyah district, the Bani Matar waterfall and the Shahak dams in Al-Tayyal, Rajam and Makhtan in Bani Hashish and Hammam Jarif in Blad al-Ross, the service teams that include tourism and security offices and the rescue traffic and works branch continue Health, Civil Defense and Hygiene Provide services and provide a safe and appropriate environment for visitors to enable them to enjoy the Eid atmosphere.
