October Revolution anniversary is inspiring moment to declare armed struggle and defeat new occupiers from south of country

From under the ashes of injustice, oppression, and tyranny, the spark of the October 14 Revolution broke out, the embers of which were lit by the free revolutionaries from the majestic mountains of Radfan, announcing the birth of freedom's dawnand liberation from the hateful British colonialism that had perched on the southern half of the country for about 128 years.

The October 14 Revolution, which was sparked by the Free Revolutionaries in 1963 AD, is one of the most prominent Yemeni Arab revolutions that took place against the most powerful colonial empire, and forced it to leave, broken and humiliated, after about 124 years of its occupation of the south of the country.

The outbreak of the revolution from the Radfan Mountains marked the beginning of the armed struggle, which continued for four years from 1963 until the declaration of independence, despite the military operations and bombing launched by British forces against the revolutionaries, with various types of heavy weapons.

The armed struggle continued despite the conspiracies through which the occupation tried to create a rift in the resistance front. However, it continued its operations against the occupation sites, inflicting many material and human losses on it, and then forcing it to grant independence to South Yemen on November 30, 1967 AD.

However, the anniversary of this great national occasion comes for the ninth year in a row under the new colonialism that returned to the southern provinces in the year 2015 AD, under the name of the American-Saudi-Emirati coalition.

The presence of the coalition forces since 2015 AD represented a setback and the beginning of a new colonial era due to the violations and crimes committed by the Saudi-Emirati occupation countries against citizens and blatant interventions that affect the sovereignty of Yemen.

The new occupation is identical in its movements and ambitions with its British predecessor, which is also a key partner in the aggression against Yemen and seeks, through this partnership, to achieve its dream of returning to the south of the homeland.

Britain is considered one of the main international actors in the aggression against Yemen, and is practicing its old and new colonial strategies through the Emirates by occupying most of the southern and western Yemeni coasts.

The new aggression and occupation in the south of the country is based, and even depends, on the British heritage and experience, as it has relations and links with the local puppet forces, whether in Yemen or in some Gulf countries.

In accordance with the same British colonial approach, the UAE today supports the puppet Transitional Council and its security belts and grants it autonomy over the southern provinces to guarantee the UAE and Britain’s colonial interests and ambitions.

Perhaps one of the similarities between the British occupation and its Saudi-Emirati predecessor is also the colonial policy followed to strengthen the occupation authorities, which is based on fueling regional conflicts and separatist movements in the southern province, just as Britain did through its support of sheikhdoms and sultans before 1967 AD.

Just as the British occupation controlled the strategic Yemeni islands and waterways, today the Saudi-Emirati aggression countries, and behind them international powers, most notably America, Britain and France, are competing to occupy the Yemeni islands and control the same waterways that control global trade lines.

The main goal of the British occupation of the south of the country was to plunder the wealth and deprive the people of the country of their rights and wealth, which is consistent with what the aggression coalition is doing today, through its local tools, by tightening its control over all sources of wealth, and in the same way as the old colonialism, it harnesses the wealth and resources of the Yemenis for its interests and deprives them of it.

The anniversary of the October Revolution returns today in light of the bitter reality experienced by the occupied provinces resulting from nine years of war coinciding with the continued interference of the new old colonial countries in the country’s affairs, and their deepening of the humanitarian, economic ,social crises, support for armed regional entities, militias, and plundering of resources and wealth, which had Serious repercussions on the lives and livelihood of the Yemeni people, especially in the occupied territories.

Today, the occupied provinces of the homeland are engulfed by the fire of a hateful occupation that practices oppression, plunder, tampering with the capabilities wealth of Yemen, works to disrupt service ,economic facilities and interests in the occupied provinces, turning the lives of its citizens into a series of crises, most notably the economic and living crisis, the severity of which was exacerbated by the collapse of the currency price local against foreign currencies.

The issue of the Saudi-Emirati occupation of southern Yemen stands out as one of the most important national issues, which occupies the largest part of the attention of the revolutionary leadership ,the Supreme Political Council, and it always affirms the national, religious and moral commitment to expel the invaders, cleanse every inch of Yemeni land, and preserve national sovereignty, on land, sea and air.

Based on this logic, the leadership of the revolution and all free Yemeni people believe that the celebration of the anniversary of the revolution of October 14 and November 30 remains incomplete as long as there is an Emirati, Saudi, or American soldier on the soil of the country, north and south.

In light of this, the Yemeni people today face an urgent and necessary task in continuing their revolutionary approach, in confronting the aggression, one of the most important goals of which was to restore guardianship over Yemen, and deprive the people of achieving their ambitions to build a strong state and a national economy free from dependency on the outside, and to strengthen the country’s defensive and offensive capabilities. Which began to materialize despite difficult circumstances.

Therefore, moving forward in confronting the aggression and its mercenaries is the only way for the Yemeni people to liberate the country, restore its sovereignty, resources and wealth, rebuild it and create the future of its generations, away from hegemony and guardianship.

Just as the Yemenis celebrated one day the departure of the last British soldier from the south of the country, they must celebrate, sooner or later, the defeat of the Emirati-Saudi invasion and occupation forces from all Yemeni lands.
