Spain on Friday criticized the Israeli government plans to expand illegal settlements in the occupied West Bank and condemned Israeli settlers' violence against Palestinians.
In a press statement, the Spanish Foreign Ministry lambasted the Israeli government for approving on Monday plans to build thousands of new homes in the illegal settlements.
It reminded the Israeli government that the West Bank settlements are illegal under the international law and undermine the chance for a two-state solution.
