The army and the PMF carry out a security operation south of Nineveh

A joint force from the Nineveh Operations Command in the Popular Mobilization Forces, in cooperation with the Iraqi army units, carried out a large-scale security operation on Sunday to secure and search southern Nineveh.The Popular Mobilization Commission media stated in a statement that " the Operations, Intelligence and Communications Department in the command participated in the operation, as well as the 44th and 21st brigades, counter-terrorism detachments and the 43rd brigade of the Iraqi army, to conduct a complete survey and search of Hatra desert, south of Nineveh Governorate."The operation aims to pursue terrorist elements, dry up their sources and impose security and stability throughout the governorate.Source: National Iraqi News Agency
