Abu dhabi: Dr. Abdulnasser Alshaali presented his credentials as Ambassador of the UAE to the Republic of Singapore to Tharman Shanmugaratnam, the President of Singapore, during a reception at the Istana, the official residence of the President.
According to Emirates News Agency, Alshaali conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, to President Shanmugaratnam. They expressed their wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the government and people of Singapore.
President Shanmugaratnam reciprocated by sending his greetings to the UAE leadership, including President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He wished for further development and prosperity for the UAE's leadership, government, and people.
President Shanmugaratnam welcomed Alshaali and wished him success in his new role. He emphasized Singapore's commitment to strengthening bilateral relations across various sectors and assured his country's support to facilitate Alshaali's mission.
Alshaali expressed his pride in representing the United Arab Emirates in Singapore. He reaffirmed his dedication to enhancing bilateral relations in various fields to support the friendship between the two countries and their peoples.
During their meeting, both parties reviewed existing bilateral relations and explored ways to enhance cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Singapore in areas of mutual interest.
