UAE and Chad Presidents Discuss Economic and Renewable Energy Cooperation

Abu dhabi: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today welcomed President Mahamat Idriss D©by Itno of the Republic of Chad, who is on a working visit to the UAE. The visit coincides with the UAE-Chad Trade and Investment Forum, which aims to enhance economic cooperation between the two nations.

According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting took place at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi, where the leaders discussed opportunities for further collaboration in economic, trade, development, and renewable energy sectors. Sheikh Mohamed emphasized the UAE's commitment to fostering partnerships with African nations to promote economic growth and global prosperity.

The discussions underscored the significance of the UAE-Chad Trade and Investment Forum, held from 10 to 11 November in Abu Dhabi. The forum featured the launch of the 'Chad Connection 2030' national development plan, a strategic initiative aimed at expanding economic ties between the two countries.

President D©by expressed gratitude for the UAE's hospitality and highlighted the forum's role in advancing bilateral relations, particularly in investment and economic development.

The meeting was attended by several UAE dignitaries, including Vice President Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and a host of other senior officials and guests.
