Abu Dhabi: In commemoration of 40 years of diplomatic ties between the United Arab Emirates and China, the Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Foundation (ADMAF) and the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy (AGDA) hosted a special panel discussion titled ‘Intercultural Relations Exchange between UAE and China: Strategy for the Future and Challenges.’
According to Emirates News Agency, the forum, held at the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy in Abu Dhabi, gathered senior diplomats and key experts to discuss the prosperous partnership between the two nations. The discussion aimed to address both the opportunities and complexities involved in strengthening intercultural connections for a progressive future.
Huda Ibrahim Al Khamis-Kanoo, Founder of ADMAF, emphasized the collaboration with AGDA to provide quality initiatives that strengthen the UAE’s global position in arts and culture. She highlighted the importance of this partnership in enhancing the UAE’s cultural identity and the role of cultural diplomacy in supporting fu
ture economic developments through education and innovation.
She noted the significance of co-hosting the panel discussion to commemorate the 40th anniversary of UAE-China diplomatic relations. She expressed the intention to promote cultural dialogue, international cooperation, and build global partnerships with China, which shares core values with the UAE.
Nickolay Mladenov, AGDA Director-General, highlighted the celebration as a testament to the strength of UAE-China ties. He emphasized the role of cultural diplomacy in building communication bridges and fostering mutual understanding. Mladenov stated that the symposium aimed to develop innovative strategies for cultural cooperation, paving the way for a future marked by prosperity and progress in bilateral relations.
The event also served as a platform to broaden cooperation across cultural, economic, and technological spheres, reaffirming cultural diplomacy as a vital pathway for advancing peace and global solidarity.
