Abu dhabi: The UAE Ministry of Interior has become the first federal and security entity in the country to receive the ISO 42001:2023 certification for Artificial Intelligence Management Systems. This milestone underscores the ministry's pioneering efforts in the realm of digital transformation and AI governance.
According to Emirates News Agency, the certification was awarded by LRQA and encompasses the ministry's comprehensive role as an AI developer, provider, and user. Officials have emphasized that this achievement aligns with the UAE's strategic vision of establishing smarter and more efficient government services through the integration of advanced technologies.
