Abu dhabi: Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of Foreign Trade, announced that the UAE's non-oil foreign trade has achieved a historic milestone in the first half of 2026, reaching AED1.937 trillion. This achievement reflects the success of the UAE leadership's vision of building a diversified, competitive, and open economy that adapts to global economic shifts for long-term growth.
According to Emirates News Agency, Dr. Al Zeyoudi emphasized that despite global economic challenges and regional geopolitical impacts, international confidence in the UAE market remains strong. Dr. Al Zeyoudi highlighted the role of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CPEA) programme in strengthening trade relationships across continents and accelerating growth with emerging markets.
