Abu Dhabi:The Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) 2026 is serving as a global platform to highlight the latest artificial intelligence and digital technology solutions. These innovations are focused on advancing the energy sector by improving industrial operations' efficiency, increasing productivity, and supporting sustainability efforts.
According to Emirates News Agency, Nayef Bou Chaaya, Vice President for the Middle East, Africa, Turkey, and Central Asia at AVEVA, emphasized the exhibition's importance for engaging with customers and partners. Bou Chaaya noted that AVEVA is showcasing new technology solutions at ADIPEC to address challenges in the energy and industrial sectors, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence applications.
AVEVA, a global industrial software company, is working with customers to develop practical solutions aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, optimizing energy consumption, reducing emissions, and supporting decarbonization. Bou Chaaya stressed the importance of artificial intelligence and machine learning-powered predictive maintenance in reducing unplanned downtime and improving the reliability of industrial facilities.
Bou Chaaya also highlighted that successful implementation of AI applications relies on the quality of available data. He advocated for unified data collection systems to ensure accurate analysis and decision-making.
