Abdullah bin Zayed Engages in Diplomatic Discussions with Duke of Edinburgh, Bhutan PM, and Benin FM

Dubai: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, engaged in a series of diplomatic meetings with international leaders, including His Royal Highness Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh, on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit in Dubai. The discussions centered around enhancing bilateral relations and exploring avenues for joint cooperation between the respective nations.

According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting with the Duke of Edinburgh focused on strengthening ties and developing collaboration across various sectors to serve mutual interests. Furthermore, they reviewed the initiatives of The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Foundation and its role in empowering young people globally.

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah also met with Tshering Tobgay, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bhutan, to discuss the distinguished relations between the UAE and Bhutan. The dialogue aimed at enhancing bilateral ties to support the mutual interests of the two friendly nations.

In a separate discussion, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah engaged with Olushegun Adjadi Bakari, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Benin, to explore opportunities for joint cooperation in development, economic, trade, and investment fields.

The meetings were attended by notable UAE officials, including Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State; Sarah Al Amiri, Minister of Education; and Omran Sharaf, Assistant Foreign Minister for Advanced Science and Technology.
