SEC Approves First Batch of 2026 Land Grant Beneficiaries


Sharjah: H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council (SEC), chaired a significant Council meeting at the Sharjah Ruler’s Office on Tuesday.



According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Vice Chairman of the SEC. During the meeting, the Council extended congratulations and best wishes to the UAE’s leadership, citizens, and Muslims globally, marking the holy month of Ramadan. The Council expressed hopes for blessings and acceptance of good deeds during this sacred time.



The SEC discussed various matters related to government work progress and assessed the public policies of government departments and entities. These discussions focused on aligning with the Emirate of Sharjah’s vision and strategic goals. In line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Council approved the first batch of 2026 beneficiaries for residential and investment land grants. A total of 1,200 beneficiaries were announced, with 490 receiving residential plots and 710 granted investment plots across Sharjah’s cities and regions.



Furthermore, the Council sanctioned a study for a modern air transport project, which includes air taxis and cargo services, to bolster Sharjah’s position as a pivotal air connectivity hub. This initiative aligns with global sustainability trends and future technologies, promising collaboration with leading international partners.
